Hello
I'm Michele Shore, a wedding & lifestyle photographer based in Dallas, TX and available for destination weddings around the world. My photography style is a combination of photojournalism with a timeless, romantic feel.
I approach the wedding day with both a fine art & photojournalistic eye to give the images a creative & interesting look. My goal is to make every image look soft, organic, and effortless, and of course make the bride & groom look & feel their absolute best!

My Story
I was born in New Orleans, LA, but have lived in Texas most of my life. However, I still consider New Orleans my hometown. I first started in the photography industry when I was just 14 working in a portrait studio until I was 17. I then went to the University of North Texas where I got my Bachelor's degree in Business. It wasn't until my Junior year of college that I realized I wanted to pick up photography again and actually start my own business. A year later, I married my high school sweetheart, Daniel, who is the most amazing man! He is the one who inspired & motivated me to pursue this photography dream! After we got married, I started taking classes & workshops & assisting local wedding photographers.
After about 4 years of photographing weddings in Texas, my husband was offered a job in San Francisco. So we packed our bags & moved out west! It was a wonderful experience and I absolutely adore all of my California brides!! We moved back to Dallas when my husband and I found out that we were expecting our first child (a baby boy) and the rest is history!! I can honestly say after 12 years of photographing 200+ weddings, there is nothing I love doing more than capturing one of the most special days in a couple's life!

I believe that each of my couples are unique and no one love story is exactly the same. I want to tell that love story through my lens in a way that will enable you to look back on your wedding day 50 years from now and feel as though you are reliving the day all over again. I believe in using natural light to create romantic & organic images, and I direct my couples in a way so they are not overly posed. I find that the best images are the ones that are natural, candid, and fun.My Philosophy
